Food production must be doubled, so action is needed now!

René Klein Lankhorst, project leader of CropBooster-P explains in this Dutch article why we need to double food production. And more important, why we need to act now! 

"Food production is increasing too slowly to feed the world's population in 2050. A production jump is therefore necessary and that is in principle also possible. The insights into photosynthesis, for example, have grown strongly in recent years. European scientists join forces and call for action. Time is running out: after all, adapting crops takes a lot of time".
