Opinion Paper published 'Designing the Crops for the Future'

Read our Opinion Paper in the Special Issue of Biology: Crop Improvement Now and Beyond. We pledge for a large-scale pan-European research program to future proof our crops.

This is absolutely necessary to sustainably feed a future world population of 10 billion whilst protecting our precious ecosystems and withstanding the negative effects of global climate change.

The realization of this program "The CropBooster Program" will require a lot of lobby work at national governments, funding organizations, the European Commission and so on.
